Cochrane Iberoamérica coordina la Red Cochrane Iberoamericana integrada por más de 25 centros colaboradores en España, Portugal y América Latina. Las reivindicaciones de AllTrials en defensa del registro de todos los ensayos clínicos y del acceso público a sus resultados constituyen algunos de los objetivos esenciales de Cochrane para facilitar la toma de decisiones informadas basadas en la investigación. Para que esto sea posible todos los ensayos realizados deben salir a la luz, hito que solo se alcanzará cuando todas las partes implicadas se unan y trabajen para que ningún ensayo quede oculto u olvidado.

La Federación Internacional de Asociaciones de Estudiantes de Medicina ( IFMSA ), fundada en 1951, es uno de los mundos más antiguos y más grandes organizaciones dirigidas por estudiantes. Representa, se conecta y se dedica todos los días con estudiantes de medicina de 124 organizaciones nacionales miembros en 116 países de todo el mundo.

AEPap representing more than 3000 pediatricians across Spain, is proud to endorse the AllTrials campaign. We are committed to transparency in research so that the best treatments for children can be developed and evaluated, and it is vital that all clinical trials are registered and the results reported.

BioNorte – Basque Health Sciences Society, from northern Spain is dedicated to research and training in Health Sciences. We are proud to support the AllTrials initiative, because we also think the transparency of clinical trial study designs and results is important to achieve the best practices in health. All clinical trials should be registered and the results, whether negative or positive, be made available to researchers, clinicians and public.

Medical practice should be based on high quality clinical evidence. Clinical trials are the gold standard for efficacy and safety of therapeutic and preventive interventions. A significant percentage of clinical trials fail to detect any benefit of the interventions under study – the so called negative studies. These tend to be published in a smaller percentage than positive studies (publication bias). For the health practitioner, however, it is almost as important to know “what works” as it is “what does not work”, so the results of all clinical trials (positive or negative) should be published, so their results should be available to the health community. This is why our Center for EBM at the University of Lisbon School of Medicine strongly supports the AllTrials campaign.

El Centro Nacional Coordinador de Ensayos Clínicos (CENCEC) es un centro de servicios científicos y tecnológicos que tiene como misión diseñar y conducir ensayos clínicos de productos médico-farmacéuticos y biotecnológicos y cualquier otra tecnología sanitaria para la industria nacional y extranjera. Asegurar el rigor necesario, así como la transparencia y cumplimiento de las Normas de Buenas Prácticas Clínicas; controlar todos los ensayos clínicos que se realizan en el país y desarrollar programas de formación y perfeccionamiento de los Recursos Humanos en Investigación Clínica.

As part of the processes of clinical research and continuing education, CENCEC:
– Ensures access to available evidence for informing decision-making processes,
– Advocates the principle of prospective registration of clinical trials and reporting of their results,
– Supports the Cuban Registry of Clinical Trials, and
– Promotes the generation and dissemination of our own evidence.
