The UK’s Health Research Authority (HRA) has published the feedback it received to its clinical trial transparency proposals. Look at pages 6-13 for some of the most compelling and moving reasons for clinical trial transparency that we’ve seen.
Hundreds of you wrote to the HRA in July to support its proposals. Thanks to your support, the HRA now requires researchers to register all of the clinical trials they’ve done since September 2013 before they can apply to start a new trial. The HRA will expand this requirement to all past trials from April 2015. The HRA is also beginning to set standards for reporting the results of clinical trials.
