Caroline Fiennes, Director of Giving Evidence, a charity that encourages charitable giving based on evidence, has written a great blog post that elegantly describes the problem of unpublished trials, and the positive impact the AllTrials campaign could have for the world’s poor.
Using a framework for analysing the impact of charities (impact = importance x idea x implementation), Caroline said:
“The importance of AllTrials’s work is huge. Unlike almost anything else you’ll ever see, solving this publication bias problem will benefit literally all people everywhere, forever.”
