The Yale Open Data Access (YODA) Project is inviting comment on their proposed policy to make available clinical trial data from Johnson and Johnson. Read the message from Harlan Krumholz below and add your comment on their website.

In January the Yale Open Data Access (YODA) Project signed an agreement with Janssen Pharmaceutics of Johnson and Johnson to release their clinical trial data. We have been working to develop policies that promote open science and high quality research.

I am happy to report that the YODA Draft Data Release Policy for the project with Janssen Pharmaceuticals has now been posted for public comment:

We welcome your input on this document. We thank our steering committee – and our partners at Janssen. The final decisions for the conditions of the data release reside solely with the YODA team – but we would benefit greatly in hearing from the community. We anticipate leaving this comment period open until June 14th. We also expect that once we implement the policies that we will learn from experience and anticipate making continual improvements over time.

Thank you very much for your interest in open science.

Best regards,

Harlan Krumholz on behalf of the YODA team
