The National Autism Project is an initiative supported by The Shirley Foundation that aims to provide authoritative recommendations on autism research and practice and increase substantially the proportion of national resource devoted to research and intervention in the field of autism.
In making recommendations to funders and policy makers on the best use of existing resources and on further investment, the National Autism Project depends critically on the quality, completeness and transparency of published information. We therefore wholeheartedly support the AllTrials campaign for greater openness in clinical research and we express the hope that its success will encourage greater transparency in other research fields relevant to our mission.
