The National Ovarian Cancer Coalition (NOCC) enthusiastically supports the national campaign for clinical trial registration and reporting led by AllTrials. Our organization recognizes that clinical trial participation is of the utmost importance in order to make clinical progress and change outcomes for ovarian cancer but we also recognize the current unmet need to make clinical trial information and data transparent and easy to obtain for patients. The NOCC’s mission is focused on improving the quality of life for ovarian cancer survivors and investing in cutting-edge research until a cure is secured. Our efforts down both avenues will be strengthened by access to better clinical trial information. This initiative led by AllTrials will lead to better educated and empowered patients, clinicians and advocates so that the best treatment decisions can be made by cancer care teams across the United States and beyond.
