The Centre for Intervention Science in Maternal and Child Health (CISMAC) is an international consortium, anchored at the Centre for International Health, University of Bergen, Norway. CISMAC is one of the Norwegian Centres of Excellence funded by the Research Council of Norway. CISMAC’s vision is to improve maternal, newborn and child health in low and middle-income countries by enhancing the quantity and quality of evidence on interventions and a rapid translation of its research findings into policy and practice. Its dissemination strategy includes the requirements for all its trials to be registered in appropriate registers, and most study protocols are published. The trial results are to be published in Open Access papers, in addition to disseminating their findings at international conferences and in media targeting the general public.

We fully support the AllTrial initiative for all clinical trials to be registered and their findings reported upon irrespective of results
